Classical Swine Fever (CSF) is a highly contagious viral disease affecting domestic and wild pigs. This study aimed to assess viral circulation and to characterize the epidemiological situation of CSF in domestic pig farms in the state of Amapá, Brazil. A total of 414 serum samples were collected from 32 rural properties across the 16 municipalities of the state between December 2024 and January 2025. Samples were tested by ELISA using a commercial CSFV kit (IDEXX Laboratories). All samples were negative for anti-CSF antibodies. These findings indicate the absence of serological evidence of CSF circulation in the studied period and area. This is the first seroepidemiological survey conducted in the state of Amapá and provides relevant support for surveillance strategies and for advancing the process of changing the state sanitary status from a non-free zone to a CSF-free zone.
