Abstract

This article critically analyzes access to justice through digital platforms, focusing on initiatives implemented by the Court of Justice of the State of Pernambuco (TJPE), especially the TJPE Atende application. The research is bibliographic and documentary approach, complemented by jurisprudential analysis. The study investigates whether the virtualization of jurisdictional services effectively promotes an expansion of access to justice or whether, on the contrary, it reinforces existing structural barriers, especially for vulnerable populations. The analysis engages with the literature on access to justice, digital inclusion, and resistance to technological innovation. It concludes that, although digital tools increase administrative efficiency and procedural speed, structural challenges related to digital exclusion, technological literacy, and socioeconomic inequality persist, requiring complementary institutional policies.
