Abstract

The occurrence of bradyarrhythmias is exceedingly high in most emergency services both in the country and around the world, being considered one of the main complaints in cardiology clinics. Therefore, establishing a distinction between supra-Hisian and infra-Hisian blocks in emergency situations saves costs on unnecessary medications and complementary exams, reduces diagnosis time, and mitigates the iatrogenic practice inflicted on the service user. Thus, it is essential for the healthcare team to develop a simple device capable of assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of bradyarrhythmias, thereby reducing the need for healthcare resources and increasing patients' life expectancy. Therefore, the purpose of this Care Protocol is, through a review of contemporary literature, to produce a tool capable of optimizing emergency services regarding the diagnosis and management of bradyarrhythmias.
