The expansion of digital culture has reshaped social interactions, meaning-making processes, and ethical education within schools, posing new challenges to curricular components focused on citizenship education. Religious Education, understood from a non-confessional and pluralistic perspective, is particularly affected by these transformations. This article aims to analyze how digital culture redefines the formative objectives of Religious Education in public schools, considering the Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum and the integration of digital technologies. The study adopts a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research, drawing on consolidated authors in Education, Digital Culture, and Religious Studies. The findings suggest that digital culture broadens the pedagogical scope of Religious Education, reinforcing its role in promoting digital ethics, critical thinking, and a culture of peace. The article concludes that Religious Education remains a relevant and strategic field for contemporary citizenship education when grounded in human rights, intercultural dialogue, and critical pedagogical mediation.
