This article analyzes the impact of implementing the Paredão System, an intelligent video surveillance system based on Artificial Intelligence, on the reduction of vehicle thefts in the city of Manaus-AM between 2021 and 2025. The applied, descriptive, and exploratory research used a mixed-methods approach, combining a literature review and statistical analysis of data provided by the Amazonas State Public Security Secretariat. The results demonstrate a progressive and consistent decrease in vehicle theft reports, from 2,236 occurrences in 2021 to 495 in 2025, representing a cumulative reduction of approximately 77.9%. In addition to the absolute decrease, a spatial convergence was observed, with a reduction in disparities between city zones, especially in the North and East regions, historically more critical. It is concluded that the Paredão System contributed not only to reducing the volume of property crimes but also to reorganizing their territorial distribution, strengthening data-driven and intelligence-based policing. The study highlights the importance of integrating technological innovation and public policies as a strategy for tackling urban crime.
