The present article addresses the principle of economic and financial balance in administrative contracts by emphasizing its constitutional and legal foundations, its application in infrastructure contracts, and the mechanisms for contractual rebalancing. This research emphasizes the distinction between the ordinary and the extraordinary risks, mainly in the environmental context, ensuring contractual continuity and the protection of the public interest.
