The article explores the integration of heuristic play and the inclusion of people with disabilities in Brazilian early childhood education, aligned with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Heuristic play fosters cognitive, socioemotional, motor, and sensory development, being effective for children with disabilities such as ASD. Inclusion, supported by the Brazilian Inclusion Law, faces challenges like limited infrastructure and insufficient teacher training. It analyzes space organization, culturally relevant materials, the educator’s role, and barriers such as cultural resistance. It proposes investments in accessibility, training, and community partnerships, emphasizing the importance of play for holistic development.
