In the current educational landscape, the incorporation of digital tools in school management has become increasingly crucial, being used in school spaces to optimize administration and pedagogical work, aiming at process efficiency and improved communication. The general objective of this research is to analyze the main obstacles that hinder the implementation of digital management tools in Brazilian public schools, subsequently proposing effective strategies to overcome them. This is a bibliographic research, with a qualitative and explanatory approach, in which academic articles, master's dissertations, doctoral theses, and books published in the last eight years (2018-2025), in Portuguese or English, specifically addressing the application of technology in school management, were included. The set of studies analyzed shows that, although digital technologies offer the potential to improve school management, their implementation in public schools still faces obstacles such as lack of infrastructure, insufficient training of managers, cultural resistance, and lack of planning. The research indicates that the manager's role is decisive in integrating ICTs effectively, promoting organization, transparency, and democratic practices. Even with advancements, structural and educational challenges persist, limiting the consolidation of technologies in educational management.
