We structured the theoretical framework, addressing the fundamental concepts of human trafficking, gender violence, social vulnerabilities, and the structure of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). This is followed by a legal analysis of Law N.º 13.344/2016, describing its normative evolution and its prevention and repression mechanisms. Immediately thereafter, we present the discussion of results, contrasting the theoretical and normative data with practical reality, and evaluating the degree of effectiveness of Law N.º 13.344/2016 against international goals for combating violence against women. Finally, the conclusions and references of the study are presented, synthesizing the findings and suggesting improvements for enhancing public policies, legislation, and victim assistance practices.
