The present study aimed to analyze and quantify the impact of Digital Transformation (DT) on operational efficiency and the quality of clinical information, through the development and implementation of a specific Clinic Management System (CMS) for a Speech-Language Pathology university clinic. The study was conducted as a quantitative and comparative Case Study, performed at the institution’s school-clinic during the period spanning from August 2024 to December 2025. The methodology involved comparing the performance of administrative tasks (pre and post-CMS implementation) and assessing user perception through structured questionnaires. The results demonstrated the efficacy of the intervention: there was an 81.25% reduction in the time spent on new patient registration (dropping from 16 to 3 minutes), and the time required to search for old records was optimized by 99.56%. Furthermore, the system achieved maximum agreement (a score of 5 out of 5) in reducing documentation errors and increasing confidence in data security and privacy. In conclusion, the CMS promoted a significant improvement in operational efficiency and data integrity, validating DT as a strategic imperative for elevating the quality and security of care in clinical-academic environments.
