This Final Paper discusses the role of play in child development, understanding it not merely as spontaneous action but as a fundamental experience for intellectual, motor, emotional, social, and cultural growth. Based on contributions from Piaget, Vygotsky, Wallon, and Winnicott, the research analyzes how play supports learning, strengthens relationships, enhances expressive abilities, and structures ways of thinking and acting. Using a qualitative and bibliographical approach, the study shows that play encourages knowledge construction, imagination, and social interaction. The conclusion reinforces that play is a fundamental right that must be prioritized in pedagogical practices.
