Introduction: First aid education allows students to understand everyday risks and interpret emergency situations in the school environment, promoting safety and autonomy among students and teachers. Objective: To describe the main obstacles to access to first aid knowledge for students and teachers. Methodology: Integrative literature review of 29 scientific articles published between 2010 and 2025, selected for relevance, open access, and thematic alignment. Results: Reveal the absence of structured content in school curricula, the scarcity of continuing education, low intersectoral articulation, and inequality in the provision of training. Conclusion: The inclusion of "First Aid" content in the school curriculum strengthens teacher training, facilitating the development of a culture of prevention and citizenship; however, understanding the challenges faced requires the support of public policies.
