Environmental education is essential for developing a process of behavioral change, awareness, and consciousness-raising for the preservation of natural resources and the consequent improvement in the quality of life on the planet. The Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE), as a public body, has the constitutional duty to adopt sustainable policies and practices. The Judicial School of Pernambuco (ESMAPE) is the official teaching and learning body of the TJPE and, among other training programs, offers courses on the theme of sustainability. In this regard, this study aims to analyze how the environmental education offered by ESMAPE can influence the integration of sustainable practices in the administrative and judicial activities of TJPE, promoting an institutional culture of environmental responsibility. The survey was conducted with TJPE employees who took courses on sustainability between 2022 and 2023. This is a basic survey with a quantitative and qualitative approach, descriptive in nature, and using documentary and bibliographic technical procedures. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire consisting of nine (9) closed and open-ended questions, applied online using the Google Forms tool. The results showed that the way ESMAPE publicizes its courses is quite effective. Most employees sought out the courses because they were interested in sustainability and already had some knowledge of the topics discussed. Most also stated that they understood the importance of the subject and changed their view of sustainability after taking the course. However, they highlighted the need for more courses, considering that the topic is quite broad.
