This case report describes a tibia and fibula fracture treated surgically, emphasizing physiotherapy’s role in functional recovery by addressing pain, mobility, strength, and psychosocial aspects. The methodology involved a detailed assessment at the UNIG clinic, including anamnesis, physical examination, goniometry, muscle strength testing, limb circumference measurements, and gait analysis. An individualized therapeutic plan followed, focusing on pain and edema control, joint mobilization, strengthening, proprioceptive training, and gait re-education. Results revealed significant improvement, with normalized range of motion, increased muscle strength, reduced edema, enhanced perimetry symmetry, improved scar mobility, and progressive return to daily activities. The discussion connects these outcomes with scientific evidence supporting early mobilization, progressive kinesiotherapy, and appropriate scar management. The study concludes that structured, individualized rehabilitation protocols effectively promote functional recovery and long-term restoration in postoperative tibia and fibula fractures.
