The theme of this study concerns the role of school management in the context of inclusive education, with an emphasis on the development of students with disabilities. The general objective of the study was to analyze how school management can contribute to the comprehensive development of students with disabilities. The methodology adopted was a qualitative literature review, based on research in books, scientific articles, monographs and other productions made available and indexed in electronic databases. The results indicate that, although there are regulatory advances and an increase in the enrollment of students with disabilities in the regular education system, there are still structural, cultural and formative barriers that limit the implementation of inclusion. It was found that school management plays a fundamental role in the elaboration of the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP), in the ongoing training of teachers, in the strategic use of resources and in the mediation of relationships with the school community and intersectoral. It is concluded that the consolidation of democratic management, sensitive to diversity and committed to human rights, is an essential condition for strengthening inclusive practices and for building a school that promotes citizenship, autonomy and the full development of all students.
