Abstract

The main objective of the study was to develop and validate a chatbot called "HMI Cuidado," whose primary function is to provide educational information and schedule appointments for patients with Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). The methodology adopted was qualitative, where a case study focused on a service flow was the main focus, complemented by research applied to the development of prototypes up to the construction of the interface in React integrated with Google Gemini. The results indicate a tool capable of performing screenings, answering complex questions about the patient's condition, and correctly directing them to in-person care or teleconsultation, as observed in the interaction tests and form responses. It is concluded, therefore, that the proposed application effectively contributes to the field, demonstrating that the combination of generative artificial intelligence and user-friendly interfaces optimizes the patient journey and improves health care management.
