Introduction: The implementation of inclusive rooms provides benefits for both hospitals and patients, offering an appropriate, accessible, and welcoming environment. When a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is received in a hospital setting prepared for their specific needs, it is possible to transform how the child and their family perceive previous traumatic experiences. Objective: To analyze the applicability of an inclusive room in improving the quality of care provided to children with ASD. Methodology: This study is a descriptive literature review developed from a qualitative perspective, focusing on the analysis of scientific publications related to the investigated topic. Results and Discussion: Data analysis of the selected studies yielded two thematic categories: (1) Inclusive rooms as environments for motivation and comfort—children with ASD tend to be hypersensitive to sounds, lights, and touch, making the hospital a challenging space due to these sensory elements; and (2) The nurse’s role in promoting inclusive rooms and multisensory environments for children with ASD—nursing care for these patients requires not only technical knowledge but also adapted communication skills and a welcoming approach. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of multisensory rooms in the hospital context and the essential role of nurses in this type of care. Therefore, creating multisensory rooms that provide comfort and enhance the hospital experience is fundamental. Nurses play a key role in promoting an inclusive, multisensory environment for atypical children, contributing to a positive, safe, and effective care experience.
