Population aging is an unavoidable reality worldwide and brings with it significant challenges for public health. Given this scenario, the present study aims to analyze the vaccination profile of elderly people in the municipalities of Juazeiro and Salvador, from 2018 to 2022, seeking to identify prevention and health promotion strategies. Specifically, it intends to describe the vaccination coverage in these municipalities, identify the most frequently administered vaccines and the frequency of doses administered, as well as analyze the variations observed over time. Finally, it seeks to discuss the implications of these findings for improving public policies and immunization strategies aimed at the elderly population. This research is exploratory in nature, using secondary data from the DATASUS information system. Data collection was carried out on October 12, 2025. Initially, the DATASUS portal was accessed, selecting the TABNET system as the database. An analysis of the vaccination profile among elderly individuals in the municipalities of Juazeiro and Salvador, from 2018 to 2022, reveals important nuances about the immune response in aging populations and the effectiveness of public health campaigns. Significant variation in vaccination coverage was observed, especially influenced by global health events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which mobilized intensified immunization efforts.
