This study investigates the relationship between parenting styles and emotional health in children, aiming to understand how parents deal with personal frustration and the frustration experienced by their children. The central issue lies in the lack of skills to cope with frustration, which can perpetuate cycles of violence, anxiety, and depression. To this end, a mixed-methods approach was adopted, combining bibliographic and primary research, including semi-structured interviews. This study aims to identify effective strategies for teaching children how to manage frustration, emphasizing that the development of resilient children depends not only on their individual experiences but also on the quality of interactions and emotional support received in their family environments. The expected results indicate that promoting emotional skills and raising parental awareness of their parenting practices are crucial for the healthy development of children.
