Breast cancer constitutes a significant public health problem due to its high incidence and the physical, psychological, and social repercussions on patients and their families. This study aimed to outline the epidemiological profile of breast cancer patients receiving palliative care in the municipality of Juazeiro-BA, between 2020 and 2024. This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, conducted through the analysis of secondary data obtained from the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). Complete patient records with information on hospitalizations, deaths, gender, race, and age group were included, while incomplete or inconsistent records were excluded. The data were tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistics, with calculation of absolute and relative frequencies and percentage variation, allowing the identification of patterns and trends. The results indicated a progressive increase in care throughout the period, particularly in the years 2023 and 2024. A predominance of mixed-race patients was observed in all categories analyzed, and higher mortality was seen in females, reflecting the prevalence of the disease in this group. It is concluded that epidemiological analysis allows for the identification of more vulnerable groups and supports policies for oncological care and palliative care, guiding strategies for prevention, monitoring, and improvement of the quality of care.
