The study analyzed the consonance between the academic training of administrators at the University of Gurupi (UnirG) and the professional demands of the local food sector. This descriptive and quantitative research was conducted between August and September 2025 with graduates and professionals working in the field. Results revealed gender balance, age diversity, and a predominance of experienced professionals. The most required skills were leadership, inventory management, logistics, and production planning. It was found that 70% of participants were satisfied with their training and 60% would recommend the course, although they highlighted the need for stronger practical integration and curricular updating. It is concluded that UnirG’s Business Administration program significantly contributes to Gurupi’s economic development, while requiring enhanced partnerships between the university and the productive sector.
