Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurological dysfunction characterized by motor, emotional, and behavioral alterations, whose increasing incidence in children motivated the choice of this theme. This study aimed to analyze publications on nursing care for children with ADHD in primary care, seeking to answer how nursing practice can promote adequate care considering the challenges faced by professionals and the strategies available for effective service delivery. An integrative literature review was conducted based on seven scientific articles selected from academic databases. The results indicate that nurses play an essential role in managing ADHD, acting from the early observation of possible symptoms to the implementation of interventions that help reduce clinical manifestations and improve the quality of life of the child and their family. It is concluded that nursing care, when supported by updated knowledge, qualified listening, and an interdisciplinary approach, strengthens comprehensive care and offers effective strategies for monitoring children with ADHD in primary care.
