Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a common condition in women, especially during or after menopause, resulting in the descent of one or more pelvic organs into or out of the vagina. Physiotherapy treatment has proven effective in alleviating the symptoms of this condition. The aim of this study is to conduct an integrative review of the literature on physiotherapeutic strategies applied to the treatment of grade 2 POP in women during menopause. By analyzing published studies, this research seeks to identify the most commonly used techniques and evaluate their effectiveness. The results indicate that physiotherapy, focusing on pelvic floor exercises, has shown effective benefits in reducing the symptoms of POP, with a significant improvement in the patients' quality of life.
