Skin aging is a natural process of human physiology and can be influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors such as exposure to ultraviolet radiation, smoking, pollution, and inadequate eating habits, all of which increase oxidative stress and the production of free radicals. Research published in scientific articles indicates that the antioxidants Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C and Tocopherol (vitamin E) are effective in preventing premature skin aging, especially when acting synergistically. Vitamin C plays a key role in collagen synthesis and in regenerating vitamin E, while vitamin E protects cell membranes from damage caused by free radicals. In this context, the oral use of these vitamins is essential to maintain the integrity of the skin, both internally and externally, promoting nutrition and aesthetics.
