This article aimed to analyze the clinical and epidemiological profile of tuberculosis among people deprived of liberty, identifying clinical characteristics, risk factors, and the most effective control strategies. The study employs an integrative literature review with an exploratory and descriptive design, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Articles, reports, and guidelines published between 2015 and 2025 in Portuguese, Spanish, and English were selected, addressing clinical, epidemiological, diagnostic, and treatment aspects of tuberculosis in prison populations. The literature search was conducted in national and international databases such as PubMed, SciELO, LILACS, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library, as well as documents from official organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health. The results will be analyzed descriptively and comparatively, organized into thematic categories covering the epidemiological profile, control policies, and risk factors. It is expected that the study will contribute to supporting more effective strategies for the prevention and management of tuberculosis in the Brazilian prison system.
