Inclusive education is one of the greatest challenges and, at the same time, one of the most significant achievements of the 21st century. Promoting inclusion and valuing diversity in the school environment means recognizing that all students, regardless of their social, cultural, ethnic, or cognitive conditions, have the right to meaningful learning. This article discusses the importance of school inclusion and the valuing of diversity as fundamental principles of democratic education, presenting theoretical and practical reflections on how to build a school that welcomes human plurality. The qualitative scientific methodology with a descriptive bibliographic approach was used, with searches in various scientific databases.
