Chemical castration is a temporary form of castration performed through the use of hormonal medications that block testosterone production in men. This paper aims to analyze the constitutionality of Bill No. 3127/2019, which proposes chemical castration as a punishment for those convicted of sexual crimes in Brazil, verifying its compatibility with the principle of human dignity enshrined in the 1988 Federal Constitution. The research adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach, based on a bibliographic review and documentary research, with an analysis of constitutional norms, scientific articles, and doctrinal works. From a scientific perspective, the legal-dogmatic method is used, complemented by the deductive method. The conclusion is that, although presented as a measure to prevent and suppress sexual crimes, chemical castration is unconstitutional because it violates fundamental rights and guarantees, especially human dignity.
