Abstract

The study investigated how multimedia resources could bring students closer to knowledge, making the teaching and learning process more dynamic, collaborative, and meaningful. The general objective was to analyze how the use of digital games, virtual museums, gamification practices, and virtual learning environments contributed to the construction of educational experiences aligned with the demands of the digital age. The development discussed multimedia education, collaborative learning, the teaching of mathematical content mediated by digital technologies, and gamification as a pedagogical strategy. The final considerations showed that multimedia resources fostered student protagonism, stimulated autonomy, and strengthened collective knowledge construction. It was concluded that this exclusively bibliographic research demonstrated the relevance of integrating these tools into the educational process, while also highlighting the need for further studies to deepen the analysis of their application in different school contexts.
