This article aimed to analyze the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the continuing teacher training process, discussing their contributions, challenges, and impacts on contemporary teaching practice. Methodologically, it is a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, based on authors such as Kenski (2021), Moran (2020), and Valente (2019), who reflect on the use of technologies in education. The selected works, published between 2018 and 2024, were analyzed using Bardin’s (2016) content analysis technique to identify key categories related to the integration of ICT in training processes. The results showed that the use of technologies expands learning possibilities, enhances teacher protagonism, and strengthens professional autonomy. It was also found that continuing education mediated by ICT encourages collaborative and innovative practices, contributing to a more inclusive and dynamic education. It is concluded that investing in continuing training based on the critical and reflective use of technologies is essential to transform teaching practice and promote meaningful and humanized education.
