Abstract

This text intends to communicate the possibilities of research through the personal archives of the primary teacher of Santa Catarina and scholarship holder of the Brazilian-American Assistance Program of Elementary Education (PABAEE), Jessy Cherem (1929-2014). The research focuses on the possibility of accessing documents, such as letters, newspaper clippings, photo albums, certificates and diplomas, which allow the reader to perceive the teaching career of Jessy Cherem, as well as to map the circulation of pedagogical ideas within PABAEE and History of Education in Santa Catarina between 1956 and 1964.
