This study conducts a fundamental analysis of the main food retail companies listed on B3, with an emphasis on the performance. The methodology involved collecting and interpreting accounting and market data from financial statements and indicators traditionally used in company valuation, such as profitability, liquidity, capital structure, and market multiples. The approach is grounded in classic authors of fundamental analysis, such as Warren Buffett and Tiago Nigro, who emphasize consistent results, long-term value creation, and financial soundness. The findings indicate that EMPRESA C demonstrates an efficient management profile, with the ability to generate stable operational results while maintaining a conservative level of debt. Although return on equity does not stand out in absolute terms, its consistency over time suggests prudent governance and a resilient business model. The company stands out for the consistency of its operating margins and its strong competitive positioning in the of Brazil, which contributes to its attractiveness as an investment asset. It is concluded that EMPRESA C represents a solid alternative for investors focused on fundamentals, even in a competitive environment subject to inflationary pressures and consumption fluctuations.
