This study aimed to analyze the technical advances in assisted human reproduction and their role in overcoming infertility in Brazil, highlighting their contributions and challenges in the current context. The research employed a bibliographic methodology, covering publications from 2020 to 2024 in databases such as the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), the CAPES Journal Portal, and Google Scholar, in addition to institutional documents. The results indicated that techniques such as in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and gamete cryopreservation have expanded reproductive possibilities and increased success rates. It was also found that factors such as high costs, regional inequalities, and legal gaps remain barriers to universal access, reinforcing the need for public policies to democratize these treatments.
