his study analyzes the quality of life of Military Police officers stationed in Santarém, Pará state, a municipality of regional importance in the areas of security, culture, and urban development. The research used data from the General Bulletin of the Pará Military Police, referring to the health inspection for promotion purposes, conducted in February 2025. Fifty-five officers from various Military Police Organizations (MPOs) in the city were recruited, with 89.1% considered fit for active duty. The study identified the main factors influencing the physical and mental health of military personnel, highlighting work overload, exposure to risk, occupational stress, and organizational structure. The role of the Psychosocial Care Center (NAP I), located in the 3rd BPM, is highlighted as an institutional tool for supporting the mental health of officers. The results highlight the need for public policies aimed at professional development, biopsychosocial well-being, and improved working conditions. Police officers' functional fitness is presented as a direct indicator of the effectiveness of public safety actions and the quality of services provided to the population. The study provides relevant information for public administrators and researchers in the field of security.
