Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of leadership on team performance in an organizational context. Leadership directly influences motivation, engagement, and productivity, and can enhance results or compromise the achievement of objectives when exercised ineffectively. To this end, the study adopts a qualitative, explanatory, and bibliographical approach, based on publications between 2018 and 2024. The research addresses the main concepts and styles of leadership, essential competencies and skills, as well as their influence on team motivation, satisfaction, and performance. It is expected that this analysis will contribute to the understanding of the role of leaders in organizations, offering theoretical perspectives that reinforce the importance of effective leadership practices to build collaborative and productive work environments.
