Abstract

This Final Paper aims to compare the effects of accelerated and conventional physiotherapy protocols on the functional recovery of patients undergoing surgery after proximal humeral fracture. The methodology used was an integrative literature review of national and international databases. Articles published between 2018 and 2025 were selected. The results indicate that the accelerated protocol may provide faster functional recovery, while the conventional protocol remains widely used due to greater safety in specific clinical situations. It is concluded that both protocols are effective, and the choice depends on individual patient factors and the clinical context.
