This research aims to present and analyze, in light of the specific social security regimes, the lack of regulation and the obstacles to the granting of special retirement benefits for nurses who are civil servants in the state of Amazonas. We want to demonstrate that the absence of a Complementary Law, a regulatory norm of law, hinders the granting or recognition of unhealthy or risky activities by the social security management body at the state level and/or by the management body of the public hospital in Amazonas. Our focus is to describe the difficulties encountered by health workers in having their right to special retirement curtailed administratively or judicially in the face of so many difficulties encountered in the implementation of this right.
