The 21st century is marked by hyperconnectivity and the incredible speed with which information is transmitted. The current generation grows up having access to technology from an early age, with smartphones and tablets in their hands. They have quick access to knowledge through websites, blogs, social networks and YouTube, surpassing television considered old-fashioned. New information technologies are affecting many areas, including education. It is common to see young people preferring internet content over traditional lecture classes. Teachers face a dispute between traditional methodologies and attractive technologies. It is necessary to debate and understand new educational technologies, as it is a path of no return. In this work, we intend to contribute with a guide for the use of educational technologies. The effective use of these technologies can benefit education.
