The article is based on the Master's Degree in Educational Sciences from the Universidad Del Sol - UNADES/PY. The aim is to focus on authors who discuss Youth and Adult Education (EJA), outlining public education policies in EJA, as well as the importance of humanizing practices in the educational process in contemporary times. The method chosen is qualitative research supported by a theoretical framework based on authors who have dialogued about Brazilian education from the earliest times to the present day. The research shows that the success of humanized teaching with a focus on the EJA is built together with (educators and students), that is, working in favour of group activity, in which it is possible to learn values such as: kindness, gentleness and empathy, etc. The conclusion is that teaching in the EJA should be based on the importance built by the educator in relation to the complexity of teaching. In addition, it is from group activity that the ability to dialog and effectively contribute to a teaching where one must (learn to learn) and (learn), so as not to lose sight of oneself, is also aligned in the (student), since in humanist education it is expected that the (students) are: critical, participatory, proactive and self-sufficient to fight for a quality education.
