This article aimed to discuss the use of digital technologies as a tool for the production and improvement of teaching materials in the school context. The research, qualitative and bibliographic in nature, was based on the analysis of theoretical works and official documents that address the use of ICT in education. The study aimed to understand how digital resources can be used by teachers to develop more interactive, inclusive, and contextualized pedagogical materials aligned with the demands of contemporary education. The results indicated that the use of digital technologies enhances teacher autonomy, personalization of teaching, and student engagement, but also highlights challenges such as lack of adequate training, limited infrastructure, and resistance to new practices. It is concluded that integrating technologies into teaching material production requires institutional support, consistent public policies, and the appreciation of teacher authorship so that schools can build more meaningful, creative, and updated pedagogical practices.
