SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SOCCER AND SPORTS INITIATION: LEARNING TECHNICAL FUNDAMENTALS

Sports Initiation is defined as the phase in which the child begins learning about sports, in a guided and structured way. Therefore, the objective of this study is to demonstrate important aspects of Soccer Schools, as an instrument of Sports Initiation, as well as reflect on the real challenges that come and that consequently occur from a whole perspective of the Physical Education Professional's performance in health promotion. To this end, the article was conducted by reviewing the literature on the topic. A bibliographical survey of articles and course completion works was carried out, indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Google Scholar databases during the months of June and July 2024. The descriptors were used: “Child, Soccer School, Sports Initiation. The study had as its guiding question: What is the relevance of the practice of Soccer for children in the context of Sports Initiation Schools? With the present study It can be proven, in general, that the Soccer School within its social role must act as an agent capable of directing students towards satisfactory paths, which have several possibilities in the most diverse segments of life such as: biopsychosocial, moral, cultural, intellectual, educational and sporting, observing the set of values in the entirety of each subject involved in this universe.
