Abstract

Education and Technology can no longer happen in a segregated manner; one is intrinsically linked to the other. Education, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic, has started using digital technology not only in its administrative systems but also transformed face-to-face classes into virtual ones. Technology, in turn, in its greatest and boldest advances, occurs because there is a learning process behind them; Education is a priori to Technology. This scientific article is the result of bibliographic research on the relationship between Education and Technology, specifically, the impacts and transformations that the latter caused when inserted into the educational context, as well as the discussion based on the results of a qualitative interview with teachers and students, focused on the reflection on the insertion of technologies during remote teaching, its challenges, and opportunities.
