This study addressed Education 5.0 and its transformation of teaching practices, focusing on the role of the teacher as a mediator and competency developer. The research aimed to answer the question: how does Education 5.0 transform teaching practices and what are the results of this transformation on the development of students' and teachers' competencies? The general objective was to analyze the gains, possibilities, and outcomes of teaching practices in the context of Education 5.0, considering the adoption of new digital technologies in teaching. The adopted methodology was bibliographic research, which allowed an in-depth analysis of the use of digital technologies in education and its impact on pedagogical practice. The study development highlighted how Education 5.0 provides more personalized and collaborative learning while promoting the development of digital and socio-emotional competencies in students. The research concluded that Education 5.0 transforms teaching practices by providing teachers with a new role as learning facilitators while fostering inclusion and the development of essential skills in students. The need for further empirical studies was highlighted to complement the findings and deepen the understanding of the impacts of this educational approach.
