Abstract

The research demonstrated that the integration of art in the Judiciary Branch contributes significantly to the humanization of the institutional environment, promoting the integral development of employees and strengthening the connection between justice and society. The adoption of artistic practices thus proves to be a relevant instrument for the construction of a justice system that is more accessible, sensitive and committed to social transformation, which often remains unexplored by formal education. Based on the experience of an amateur theater group formed by employees of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE), which staged the show "Art and Stories in the Palace", the aim is to analyze the relationship between art and institutional power, as well as architecture as a political language, and the importance of history and memory in the context of the Palace of Justice of Pernambuco. The study seeks to understand how artistic practices, inserted in institutional environments, can expand historical awareness, promote the humanization of social relations and strengthen cultural identity in the space of the Judiciary Branch.
