This research analyzes the role of mediation in the management of organizational conflicts within the labor sphere. Given the inherent nature of divergences in the professional environment, the study aimed to identify how mediation, as an alternative dispute resolution method, contributes to promoting effective solutions and social pacification. To this end, the concepts, types, levels, and origins of organizational conflicts were addressed, as well as the evolution of Labor Law and the encouragement of alternative dispute resolution methods. The adopted methodology was qualitative bibliographic research, based on the analysis of specialized doctrine, legislation, and official documents. The results demonstrate that mediation offers significant positive impacts, such as procedural celerity, cost reduction, preservation of relationships, fostering party autonomy, and generating creative and personalized solutions. It is concluded that mediation constitutes a strategic and effective instrument for managing labor conflicts, promoting a more harmonious and productive work environment.
