Teacher training in the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) represents one of the central challenges in contemporary education. Technological advancement has significantly transformed teaching and learning processes, requiring new teacher competencies to integrate these tools into pedagogical practice. This study aims to analyze the challenges and perspectives of teacher training in light of technological innovations, identifying effective approaches for training and implementing these technologies in the classroom. Through a bibliographic review, scientific articles, dissertations, and books addressing the impact of digital technologies and AI on education were examined. The results indicate that although technologies offer opportunities for personalized learning, challenges such as resistance to change, lack of infrastructure, and ineffective continuing education programs persist. Active methodologies, such as flipped classrooms and project-based learning, emerge as promising alternatives, combined with public policies and programs that develop teachers' digital competencies. It is concluded that teacher training must be continuous and innovative, fostering critical and reflective use of technologies to achieve inclusive and effective education.
