Trade relations between Brazil and Egypt in the cotton sector are promising. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, cotton production could reach 300 million tons by 2028/29, setting an example of cooperation between emerging nations. Brazil, renowned for its large-scale production capacity, and Egypt, famous for the superior quality of its cotton, have the opportunity to strengthen their economies through a strategic alliance. This economic interdependence not only benefits the economies of the two countries, but also promotes the stability of the global cotton market, encouraging innovation and the exchange of technology. Data from institutions such as Embrapa, IBGE, MAPA, FAO and ICAC are fundamental to understanding the dynamics of the sector and increasing competitiveness. Expanding this partnership could generate a successful model that inspires other collaborations between developing countries. Therefore, strengthening trade relations in the cotton sector represents an economic opportunity and a significant step forward in building a more collaborative and sustainable future globally for other production chains.
