Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face significant barriers to accessing inclusive education, appropriate therapies, and job opportunities, despite a robust legislative framework for their protection. This article investigates the applicability of legal standards for the labor inclusion of autistic youth and adults, assesses the impact of public policies in this area, and identifies the main obstacles faced by individuals with ASD in accessing the job market. Based on a bibliographic review, strategies are proposed to overcome barriers and promote effective inclusion.
