The inclusion of autistic students in regular schools presents challenges involving legal and educational aspects. This article analyzes the barriers faced by students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), highlighting the importance of teacher training, adequate infrastructure, and effective public policies. The research emphasizes the need for inclusive pedagogical practices and ongoing educator training. Additionally, it discusses the legal responsibilities of educational institutions and the government to ensure the right to inclusive education as outlined by Brazilian legislation. The findings reveal that a lack of resources and institutional support hinders effective inclusion. Therefore, it is urgent to implement actions that foster a welcoming and accessible school environment, allowing all students to develop their potential. This study aims to contribute to the discussion on inclusive education by proposing solutions to overcome existing challenges.
