This bibliographic article seeks to discuss the importance of affectivity in teacher-student relationships, bringing notes about its influence on learning. It seeks to understand concepts and specificities of psychoanalytic theory, focusing on teacher-student relationships as a whole, in addition to reflecting on how interaction takes place and how much affectivity can be decisive for the success of the teaching-learning process.
