Morning shots are concentrated beverages made with natural ingredients that promise to stimulate metabolism and strengthen the immune system. This study evaluated the erosive potential of four morning shots recipes. pH and titratable acidity (NaOH 0.5 mol/L) analyses were performed on each formulation. All samples presented pH below the critical limit for dissolution of tooth enamel (pH 5.5), indicating erosive risk. Recipe 3 demonstrated the highest titratable acidity and, consequently, the greatest erosion potential. The combination of pH and titratable acidity data proved to be essential to estimate the acid aggressiveness of the analyzed beverages. It is concluded that the morning shots analyzed have significant potential for dental erosion. These findings reinforce the importance of professional guidance regarding the regular consumption of these beverages and their relationship with oral health.
